In July 2021, we marked a special milestone at Almoners Gardens — the completion of the development and the official welcome of all our new residents.

To celebrate, we hosted a relaxed outdoor summer garden party within the heart of the scheme, set against the backdrop of the newly completed homes. It was a warm, simple, genuine way to bring everyone together and mark the end of a project that means a great deal to us.

A Warm Welcome to the Community

The afternoon brought together families and couples who had recently moved in or were preparing to move into their homes. Many were meeting their neighbours properly for the first time, and the atmosphere was one of excitement, pride and genuine connection.

Held outdoors and catered by Forric Homes, the event focused on what mattered most — creating space for people to come together, talk, and celebrate the beginning of life at Almoners Gardens.

The Forric Team & Site Staff Joined the Celebration

One of the most meaningful aspects of the afternoon was having the full Forric Homes team in attendance — including the site staff who had brought every stage of the development to life.

From the people who laid the first foundations to those who completed the final finishes, the team were able to meet the residents who would now enjoy the homes they had created.

Several residents took the opportunity to thank the site staff personally — something that meant a great deal to the team.

A Moment to Reflect on the Journey

As the development reached completion, the afternoon became a natural point of reflection for everyone involved. For the residents, it marked the beginning of a new chapter, settling into a calm, well-connected village location and joining a community that was forming right from the start

For our team, it represented the close of a scheme delivered with care, seeing people enjoying the spaces we designed, the foundation for future Forric developments. The sense of shared pride was felt by all.
